Choir songs for the Summer concert (19th July @ 5pm)

Soul Choir

Practise these 3 songs and learn the lyrics.

We are starting Ukuleles after February half-term!

I have purchased a set of ukuleles for the school. You will be able to use these ukuleles in lesson as well as after school, but if you'd like to have one to practise with at home have a look at www.amazon.co.uk as there are some quite affordable ones available.

Good makes for a beginner ukulele are Mahalo and Vintage. You can get a soprano instrument for under £22.

Your homework is 10 minutes practise a week.

Don't forget that if you don't have a UKULELE at home you MUST practise at school TEN MINUTES every week.     
(Two 5 minute practices should ensure sufficient progress)

Choir competition at MFY on Monday 1st February 2016

The competition is at the South bank centre from 10am-midday; we will be back at school before the end of the school day. Travel is £6 for a day travel card. Bring lunch (except FSM kiddos).
It will be fun, woohoo!! REMEMBER YOUR LETTERS!!

There's a solo here for the solo as well as the improv in the last chorus.

2. Wade in the water

Learn all three parts. I will split you closer to the time.  There is a solo here at the start.

It's all about keyboards and notes on the treble clef!

Note: You do NOT have to learn the entire song, but it WILL gain you top marks to do a complete performance. 

Yes: You HAVE to play with both hands for this half-term's assessment.  Your 10 minutes practise EVERY WEEK will be necessary to pass this assessment.
